Your Right to Privacy as a Customer
We value all of our customers' basic rights, and the most pertinent one to this conversation is the right to privacy.
We DO NOT and WILL NOT freely share personal, situational, or contact information about any of our customers with anyone else. Not other customers, not other businesses, and more importantly, not law enforcement.
There are EXCEEDINGLY rare situations where we may share relevant information we have if a minor child, disabled person, etc. is in concrete, demonstrative, and immediate danger. We also comply with any lawfully issued judicial warrants or subpoenas. Lastly, we certainly provide information if a crime has been committed against us.
We do not share ANY information, large or small, beyond that. Law enforcement included...not with LPD or UWPD, not with WHP or the ACSO, and certainly not with any Federal law enforcement (including DHS/ICE).
All of our customers are entitled to this policy; it is one we have always had but are reiterating. Your contact information, your activity, your whereabouts, your life, your immigration status, your anything...none of it is our business or concern and it's not our place to share it with anyone else.
This isn't a political stance; it's an ethical one.
